We are seeking an experienced Business Litigation Paralegal for a direct hire opportunity in Hartford, CT. This role is ideal for a litigation paralegal with strong discovery, case management, document production, and trial preparation experience who enjoys working on complex business litigation matters in a professional legal services environment.
The Business Litigation Paralegal will work closely with attorneys, litigation support teams, internal departments, clients, and outside vendors to help move cases forward efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and organize case files, indices, chronologies, databases, document collections, and litigation materials for attorney and client review.
- Support all phases of discovery, including document review, production, privilege review, redactions, tagging, privilege logs, redaction logs, quality control, and vendor coordination.
- Draft, proofread, format, assemble, file, and serve correspondence, memoranda, pleadings, motions, briefs, exhibits, tables of contents, and tables of authorities.
- Conduct investigative, factual, background, witness, case law, and legal authority research to support litigation strategy.
- Assist with deposition and trial preparation, including witness binders, exhibit preparation, deposition designations, electronic presentations, and coordination with litigation support.
- Proactively manage larger litigation matters by coordinating support efforts, tracking deadlines, organizing workrooms, and preparing for upcoming case events.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
