Bilingual Customer Service Rep

Job Summary

We are seeking a Remote Bilingual Customer Service Rep for a temp-to-hire opportunity supporting a healthcare services contact center project. This role is ideal for an English/Spanish bilingual customer service professional who enjoys helping people, answering questions, and supporting members with important healthcare eligibility and enrollment information.

This assignment is expected to last approximately 3 months, with the long-term intent to transition successful employees into a regular training program after the project is completed. Candidates will receive structured training, work in a process-driven customer support environment, and contribute to a program focused on helping Medicaid and CHIP members understand their options and access the support they need.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle inbound and outbound customer service interactions related to healthcare eligibility, enrollment, and managed care plan information.
- Provide accurate, objective responses regarding eligibility guidelines, policies, access to care concerns, and escalated issues.
- Assist members with questions so they can make informed decisions regarding Medicaid benefits.
- Process workflow documentation such as income verification, identity verification, and other eligibility-related records.
- Learn and apply new policies, procedures, and program updates related to state healthcare programs.
- Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and empathy while supporting members in a call center environment.

Compensation and Benefits

- Pay Rate: $17.46 per hour.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Assignment Length: Temporary 3-month assignment with long-term transition intent.
- Training Duration: 2 weeks.
- Training Schedule: Monday through Friday, exact schedule to be provided.
- Training Attendance: Mandatory attendance required. No time off or pre-scheduled appointments are permitted during training.
- Post-Training Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM EST, and Saturday, 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM EST.
- Shifts will be assigned after training is completed.
