What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Estimator position at AppleOne Employment Services?
I’m currently partnering with a well-established industrial electrical contractor specializing in water and wastewater treatment facilities, and we are looking to bring on a strong Estimator or Senior Estimator to the team.

🔹 Estimator Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Proficiency with McCormick Estimating Software
• Strong experience with electrical takeoffs and project specs
🔹 Senior Estimator Requirements
• Minimum 10 years of experience
• Advanced estimating expertise across complex industrial projects
• Salary up to $150,000 (depending on experience)
What You’ll Be Doing
• Performing detailed electrical takeoffs (P&IDs, one-lines, control schematics, etc.)
• Building comprehensive turnkey estimates (labor, material, subs, equipment)
• Working with switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, instrumentation, and control systems
• Partnering with GCs, vendors, and clients to develop competitive bids
• Supporting complex project environments including phased shutdowns and compressed schedules
