We are seeking a Safety Engineer to support construction project teams in maintaining a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with company policies, owner requirements, and regulatory standards. This role works closely with the Safety Manager, Superintendent, and project teams to proactively identify hazards, implement safety plans, and support safe jobsite execution. This is a safety-sensitive position.

Responsibilities

Support daily jobsite safety operations and field inspections

Communicate safety expectations with internal teams, craft workers, and trade partners

Assist with development and maintenance of the Accident Prevention Plan (APP)

Review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs) and participate in safety audits

Conduct safety inspections and maintain project safety documentation

Assist with OSHA inspections, incident investigations, and near-miss reporting

Monitor safety performance of subcontractors and trade partners

Participate in safety training, awareness, and competent person courses

Learn construction operations and project lifecycle responsibilities

Qualifications

3–5 years of construction safety experience required

Able to pass an extensive background check

Bachelor’s degree preferred (Occupational Safety & Health or related field)

Valid Driver’s License required

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required)

Experience With Prolog, Primavera, And AutoDesk Suite Preferred

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and EM 385-1-1 preferred
