Immediate need for Quality Control Specialists seeking to work with a dedicated team in the electronics industry. Quality control specialists work in the Quality Reliability department and are responsible for inspecting products, materials, and processes to ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements. This role plays a critical part in preventing defects, identifying nonconformances, and supporting continuous improvement across quality.

Quality Control Specialists Responsibilities:

• Perform regular checks, inspections and audits on incoming PCBAs, In-process and finished conformal coated PBCAs, ensuring all boards meet the customers and IPC-610 acceptability standards.
• Visually inspect workmanship using visual inspection, measuring tools, and inspection aids as applicable.
• Verify conformance to drawings, specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
• Documentation: Accurately record inspection results.
• Liaison: Communicate quality findings and issues with quality engineering for disposition and escalation.
• Ensure proper identification, traceability, and documentation of inspected items.
• Inspect incoming boards, and materials, after pack-out to ensure no nonconforming material is introduced into the coating process.
  
  
  

Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in electronics manufacturing, particularly with conformal coating.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to read blueprints, work orders, and understand technical drawings.
• Knowledge of IPC-610 standards for electronics.
• IPC-830A Conformal Coating
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Good record keeping and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, in fast paced environments
• Certified Quality Inspector or 5 years of experience working with PCBAs
