Job Title: Production Coordinator

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity and fully onsite.

Overview:

The Production Coordinator supports day-to-day production operations by organizing schedules, coordinating with internal teams, and serving as a primary resource for customer communication. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, can balance multiple priorities, and feels comfortable discussing product details and project requirements with both internal stakeholders and clients.

Core Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain production timelines to ensure orders are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Act as a key contact for customers to provide updates on project status, answer questions, and clarify product details.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and planning teams to translate client needs into clear production requirements.
• Update and revise production schedules based on changing workloads, inventory levels, or customer requests.
• Monitor material availability and coordinate with purchasing to ensure required components are sourced in time.
• Identify potential production bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions or escalation when needed.
• Prepare routine progress reports and communicate updates to both internal leadership and external clients.
• Maintain documentation related to production specs, order details, and client communications.
• Assist in tracking production costs and ensuring processes align with quality, safety, and compliance standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or similar field preferred (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 2 years in production coordination, scheduling, customer service, or a related operational support role.
• Familiarity with manufacturing environments, product specifications, and production workflows.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey technical or process information to clients.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or production planning software is a plus.
• Proven ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting.
