Job Summary
We are seeking a Print Support Specialist IT to provide onsite support for a fleet of printers and copiers across a hospital campus. This role serves as the first point of contact for service and supply requests and requires strong customer service skills, basic technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Act as first responder for printer and copier service requests
Install, move, and configure printers and copiers
Monitor supply levels and replenish consumables (toner, paper, etc.)
Perform basic setup of IP addresses and print drivers
Provide in-person customer service to end users
Troubleshoot basic printer and copier issues
Maintain service documentation and activity logs
Walk extensively across multiple campus locations
Perform occasional lifting of equipment and supplies
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (additional education preferred)
Valid state driver’s license and required auto insurance
Comfortable using a personal vehicle for work-related travel
Basic PC skills and familiarity with networking fundamentals
Experience operating printers and copiers
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Preferred Experience
IT Help Desk or technical support experience (hardware/application)
Coursework or experience in computers, electronics, or mechanics
Working knowledge of electro-mechanical devices
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and follow technical manuals
Physical & Work Environment
Hospital / campus setting
Extensive walking and standing throughout the shift
Occasional lifting and equipment handling
Use of basic hand tools and technical equipment
Client-facing role requiring professionalism and reliability
