Payroll Administrator - US Payroll Tax
About the Role: Are you a detail-oriented payroll professional with a deep understanding of US tax compliance? We are looking for a highly motivated Payroll Administrator - US Payroll Tax to take ownership of our federal, state, and local payroll tax activities. In this role, you will drive payroll tax reporting, planning, and compliance, leveraging top-tier systems like SAP, ADP GlobalView, and UKG Pro.

What You’ll Do
- End-to-End Tax Compliance: Manage US payroll tax tasks, including federal and state tax compliance, reporting, and filings.
- Reconciliation & Funding: Oversee payroll tax reconciliation, approve payroll runs, and prepare weekly cash flow reports for treasury and tax funding.
- Form Management: Balance, reconcile, and approve critical tax forms (941, 940, W2, W2c, 499W2, 499W2c) and amended returns.
- Jurisdiction & Setup: Manage new POA forms, tax authority setups, and ensure employees are coded with the correct local tax jurisdictions.
- Audits & Year-End: Lead the quarterly and year-end tax processes for the US and Puerto Rico. Serve as the point of contact for payroll tax audits, providing reporting, testing, and remediation.
- Complex Tax Calculations: Handle specialized tax issues involving expatriates, employee relocations, and retroactive taxes.
- Legislative Strategy: Partner with our HR Service Center and payroll vendors to ensure new tax legislation is accurately implemented. Support M&A tax activities as needed.
What You Bring
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (CPA or advanced degree is strongly preferred).
- Experience: 3–5 years of payroll administration experience, coupled with 3–5 years of dedicated financial reporting or payroll tax experience.
- Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of end-to-end payroll procedures and General Ledger (GL) reconciliation. SEC financial reporting experience is a plus!
- System Proficiency: Strong, hands-on experience using at least one of the following: Workday, SAP Payroll, ADP GlobalView, or UKG Pro.
- Soft Skills: High attention to detail, ability to handle highly confidential information, and excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English). You are adaptable, independent, and thrive in time-critical situations.
Salary : $43 - $45
