Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized On-Site Field Administrator/Davis Bacon Payroll Process to support our construction project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for administering Davis-Bacon payroll compliance and providing administrative support directly on the jobsite. This is a full-time, on-site position based in a jobsite trailer.

Davis Bacon Payroll Administration
- Prepare and submit weekly payroll in accordance with Davis-Bacon prevailing wage requirements.
- Verify and calculate employee hours, wages, fringes, and benefits.
- Ensure certified payroll reports are accurate and submitted on time.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor standards.
- Serve as the primary administrative contact on the jobsite.
- Manage and maintain project documentation, logs, and records.
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, and field personnel.
- Answer phones, prepare correspondence, and support daily office operations.
- Track subcontractor insurance certificates, licenses, and compliance documentation.
- Assist with timekeeping, invoicing, and general bookkeeping tasks as needed.
- 3-5 years of proven experience with Davis-Bacon payroll administration required
- Strong understanding of prevailing wage laws and certified payroll requirements.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills.
- Proficiency with payroll software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Previous construction office experience preferred.
- On-site at the construction jobsite with office space provided in a trailer.
- Typical hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Must be comfortable working in a construction environment and interacting with field personnel.
