Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Mailroom / Office Services Associate to support daily operations in a corporate environment. This role involves mail handling, document processing, and light administrative support. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who works independently, learns quickly, and maintains professionalism at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Sort, open, and distribute incoming mail and packages
Scan and digitize physical documents using high-volume equipment
Audit digital files for accuracy and completeness
Operate copiers, scanners, and bindery equipment
Perform basic troubleshooting on office equipment (e.g., clearing paper jams)
Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including applying postage
Maintain logs, records, and inventory of office supplies
Support filing, archiving, and document management processes
Assist with meeting room setups and light office maintenance
Provide occasional reception and customer service support
Ensure work areas and equipment are clean, stocked, and operational
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1–2 years of related experience (mailroom, office services, or similar)
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Ability to operate office equipment (copiers, scanners, fax machines)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently
Good communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in copy/print or mailroom environments
Basic troubleshooting or equipment maintenance knowledge
Familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures
Work Environment
Office setting with extended periods of sitting and computer use
Occasional physical tasks such as lifting, sorting, and moving materials
Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and attention to detail
