Job Ad – Resource Tech (Direct Hire)
Location: Hazleton, PA 18202 Position Type: Direct Hire Pay Rate: $21.09 per hour Shift: 3rd Shift – Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 PM – 6:30 AM
Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking motivated and reliable Resource Techs to join their team in Hazleton, PA on a direct-hire basis.

Position Overview
As a Resource Tech, you will play a key role in production operations by safely operating equipment, driving a forklift, maintaining palletizing machinery, and supporting shipping/receiving activities. You will be a versatile team member who rotates across different production lines and steps in wherever needed to support overall plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and set up production machines and equipment
- Rotate between various production lines and equipment as needed
- Monitor product quality and remove defective items
- Perform forklift operations to move materials and products
- Conduct inspections, routine maintenance, and minor troubleshooting on palletizing equipment
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks including loading/unloading
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Participate in daily management and continuous improvement activities (CILT, Centerlining, etc.)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support team members by sharing knowledge and backing up other areas as required
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification)
- Proficient with basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly flexible with the ability to work overtime, holidays, and adapt to shift changes when needed
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance
