Global news and business information company is seeking a People Associate for their New York Office to support operation expansion. The People Associate will build strong relationships with employees and managers while delivering a high-quality employee experience and work across multiple HR functions and partner with stakeholders on global mobility, compensation alignment, and organizational design initiative.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Provide accurate, efficient, and consistent support for HR processes across the entire employee lifecycle.
- Partner with HR Business Partners, specialist teams, and global operations colleagues to deliver exceptional employee experiences.
- Guide employees on using HR self-service tools to improve satisfaction.
- Build strong relationships with managers and translate business needs into actionable people solutions.
- Use data and insights to identify trends, inform decisions, and drive improvements.
- Manage employee relations matters, ensuring fair, compliant, and timely resolutions.
- Support enhancements to systems such as ServiceNow and Workday, promoting self-service and process automation.
- Communicate effectively across regions and time zones.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing feedback, best practices, and expertise across the team.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of HR Advisory within matrixed organizations
- Experience managing a wide range of employee relations issues, including performance, attendance, conduct, and grievances.
- Working knowledge of US employment regulations and HR practices across the Americas.
- Experience with Workday, ServiceNow, and similar tools.
- Data-savvy approach with the ability to interpret HR information and maintain accurate records.
- Proactive, collaborative mindset with a focus on continual learning and improving team effectiveness.
