AppleOne is seeking an experienced Human Resources Specialist to join a leading healthcare organization. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong HR knowledge and a passion for supporting employees and management in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage employee onboarding and orientation, including credentialing, background checks, and drug testing.
Coordinate provider schedules and assist with benefits administration (health insurance, retirement plans).
Process and manage workers’ compensation claims, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
Gather medical records, maintain case documentation, and communicate with employees, insurance providers, and healthcare professionals.
Assist in implementing HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with employment laws.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of HR information.
Provide reception coverage as needed and support positive employee relations.
Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies.
Requirements
5 years of HR experience (benefits administration and workers’ compensation strongly preferred).
HR certification (SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of workers’ compensation regulations.
Excellent communication skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
