Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Facilities Manager - EHS for a direct hire opportunity in Pacoima, CA within the aerospace and defense manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for keeping a highly regulated production facility safe, compliant, secure, efficient, and fully ready to support daily manufacturing operations.
The Facilities Manager - EHS will oversee facility maintenance, building systems, environmental health and safety programs, regulatory compliance, contractor management, emergency preparedness, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role with strong visibility across Operations, Engineering, Quality, Human Resources, Maintenance, and outside service partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily facility operations, maintenance, repairs, upgrades, building systems, utilities, grounds, security, and production support needs.
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for facility infrastructure, critical systems, and production-related support equipment.
- Lead and support EHS policies, safety programs, compliance initiatives, training, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, EPA, AQMD, fire department, hazardous-material, hazardous-waste, and local regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate contractors, vendors, inspectors, facility projects, equipment moves, renovations, utility connections, and production-area modifications.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to improve safety performance, reduce downtime, control costs, and support audits, including AS9100 and environmental requirements.
- Salary range: $90,000 to $140,000 per year.
