What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escrow Assistant position at AppleOne Employment Services?
Key Responsibilities:
Log and track files handled within the department to maintain accurate records.
Review recordable documents for errors prior to submission for recording.
Scan and submit documents to the county clerk for recording.
Print recorder’s receipts and match them with corresponding documents.
Complete and print title policy instructions for processing.
Submit policy packages to the policy department for issuance.
Print and mail title policies and recorded documents to clients.
Monitor and respond to post-closing requests, including document
s, policies, surveys, and more.
Ship and track loan packages to lenders, ensuring timely delivery.
What We’re Looking For:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to effectively respond to post-closing requests.
Experience in mortgage, escrow, or title work is a plus but not required.
