Location: Florida (Hybrid after 90 days – Orlando, Tampa, Miami, Sarasota, or Fort Lauderdale)
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 annually
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Community Association Paralegal to support attorneys in a fast-paced community association practice. Comprehensive and individualized training is provided to ensure proficiency with firm systems, processes, and above-industry-standard software.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare statutory pre-suit mediation demand letters
Draft and assemble annual, board, and special meeting notice packages
Prepare board resolutions (electronic voting, remote participation, etc.) and correspondence to clients
Draft certificates of amendment and related client correspondence
Handle document rewrite projects for associations
Prepare and record documents through Simplifile, including transmittal letters to clients
Draft amendments, notice packages, and cover letters
Prepare recall packages and special assessment packages
Create association Q&A sheets
Place and manage ATIDS orders, including title searches and governing documents
Review, organize, and ensure accuracy of condominium and HOA governing documents (Declarations, Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, Amendments, indexing, and tabbing)
Maintain MRTA (Marketable Record Title Act) logs
Prepare Notices to Preserve, revitalization packages, and follow up with HOA/POA clients
Provide general paralegal support to attorneys as needed
Required Skills And Abilities
Excellent organizational and file management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Professional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Education and Experience
Associate degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field required
Bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies or related field preferred
Prior experience in community association, real estate, or corporate law strongly preferred
