Responsibilities
- Determine delivery details and plan routes efficiently.
- Collect, load, and secure stock to prevent damage.
- Maintain adequate fuel levels and monitor vehicle readiness.
- Communicate promptly with clients and management regarding potential delays.
- Take appropriate rest breaks to ensure safe operation.
- Deliver stock to clients on or before scheduled deadlines.
- Complete, store, and submit all required documentation.
- Pay applicable tolls and maintain accurate records.
- Track reasonable expenses and submit proof for reimbursement.
- Report any vehicle-related issues requiring immediate attention.
- Valid and relevant CDL license.
- Experience operating similar commercial vehicles.
- Proficiency with GPS and navigation equipment.
- Ability to maintain physical readiness to safely operate the truck.
- Full compliance with all road, safety, and transport regulations.
- Ability to drive safely in all weather conditions and at any time of day.
- Strong time management, interpersonal, and administrative skills.
- High stamina and the ability to work extended periods when necessary.
