A well-established Orlando law firm is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join the growing team. Bankruptcy and Business Litigation practice. Salary will depend on level of experience (open to candidates with 1 year of litigation experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in Chapter 7, 11, and 13 bankruptcies and related adversary proceedings
- Assist in commercial and business litigation matters, including contract disputes, creditor rights, and collections
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs
- Participate in hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Maintain strong client communication and manage cases effectively
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex matters and contribute to overall firm success
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in Florida; admission to Federal Court is a plus
- 1–4 years of experience in bankruptcy and/or business litigation preferred
- Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
- Confident courtroom presence and professionalism
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple cases with attention to detail
Salary : $90,000 - $180,000
