Key Responsibilities
- Process invoices accurately and efficiently in a high-volume environment
- Review, verify, and reconcile vendor invoices and payment requests
- Maintain vendor records and resolve invoice discrepancies
- Support month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely payment processing
- Assist with procurement and purchase order processes
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve AP procedures
- Participate in software implementations, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives
- Help develop and document best practices for accounts payable operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of Accounts Payable or related accounting experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices
- Experience working through ERP, accounting software, or system transitions preferred
- Familiarity with purchase order and procurement processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to think outside the box and recommend process improvements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems
