Overview:
Seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee financial reporting, general ledger activities, and accounting operations while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP. This role leads the close process, supports budgeting and forecasting, manages cost and inventory accounting, and supervises accounting staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead month-end and year-end close and prepare financial statements
Maintain general ledger, reconciliations, and internal controls
Support cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Ensure tax compliance and coordinate with auditors and advisors
Supervise and mentor accounting staff
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
5 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory responsibility
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
Experience with ERP/accounting systems (SAP Business ByDesign, QuickBooks)
Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
