This is a full-time in office Staff Accountant position in the Greater Sacramento area. Candidates will need to be capable of rising to a variety of challenges while juggling multiple components of a fast-paced environment. Preparing journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliation will be essential for this Staff Accountant role.

Key responsibilities:
- Maintain, implement, and adhere to internal controls while ensuring that accounting procedures comply with GAAP
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations which include, but are not limited to, cash, prepaid expenses, and payroll
- In-depth experience with month end balance sheet account reconciliations
- Periodically maintain and reconcile journal entries
- Manage schedules for capital lease and monthly payments
- Perform month end close, journal entries, with minimum supervision
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3 years’ of general ledger experience
- Strong Excel and ERP knowledge
