In this role, you will utilize your expertise in diesel engine diagnostics, hydraulic systems, electrical troubleshooting, and mechanical repairs to ensure our fleet operates at peak performance.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics and electrical work on heavy-duty vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, tire service, air brake adjustments, alignment checks, and HVAC system servicing to maximize equipment lifespan.
- Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and ensure all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Service Technician with a strong background in heavy equipment maintenance and repair.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics, automotive diagnostics, hydraulics troubleshooting
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills; capable of heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to team members and clients alike.
