As a Licensed Dental Assistant at Apple Tree Dental, you will play a crucial role in our mission by: 

• Assisting our dentists in providing exceptional dental care
• Building rapport and trust with patients and their families
• Providing chairside assistance during procedures and treatments
• Educating patients on oral health practices and preventive care
• Maintaining a clean and organized clinical environment

• Demonstrate a passion for embodying Apple Tree Dental’s mission, vision, and values.
• Show proficiency in dental assisting techniques across all phases of general dentistry.
• Have knowledge of modern dental materials, including storage, handling, and applications.
• Be able to multitask, prioritize assignments, and adhere to schedules, deadlines, and protocols.
• Possess empathetic and professional communication skills when addressing the expectations and concerns of ATD’s dental patients.

• Collaborate effectively with individuals from diverse social, ethnic, and economic backgrounds.
• Be proficient in or willing to learn computer skills and systems such as Open Dental software, Microsoft Office, and other relevant platforms as required.

Qualifications: 

• High school diploma or GED required, along with completion of an accredited dental assisting course
• Active licensure in Minnesota, DANB certification, or equivalent state jurisprudence for performing specified tasks
• Current CPR (BLS) 
• Proficiency in oral and written communication in English
