Duties
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and curriculum activities designed to support early childhood development.
- Foster a warm, welcoming classroom atmosphere that encourages social interaction, creativity, and exploration.
- Manage classroom behavior using positive reinforcement techniques and effective behavior management strategies.
- Support children’s literacy, math, and foundational skills through engaging activities aligned with curriculum standards.
- Collaborate with lead teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations and consistent educational approaches.
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress, needs, and achievements.
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that adheres to health and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working with children in preschool or early childhood education settings is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of child development principles, including childhood milestones and behavioral management techniques.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and team members.
- Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing educational activities such as literacy education, math fundamentals, and Montessori methods.
- Familiarity with working with children with autism or special education needs is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics through effective classroom management strategies.
- Relevant certifications in early childhood education or childcare are desirable but not mandatory; ongoing professional development is encouraged.
