Front Desk Staff

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dental Front Desk Receptionist to join our established dental practice. Responsibilities

• Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and check them in efficiently while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Schedule appointments usingOpenDental ensuring optimal clinic flow.
• Manage patient check-out processes, including collecting payments, processing health insurance claims, and updating medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Handle incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, answering inquiries about services, appointment scheduling, and insurance coverage.
• Review and update patient documentation, ensuring accuracy in medical records and adherence to clinical confidentiality policies.
• Maintain organized filing systems for medical records and ensure all documentation review procedures are followed meticulously.

Skills

• Proven experience in administrative support within a dental practice is preferred but not required. We can train the right candidate that has the right attitude.
• Proficiency with OpenDental is a plus.
• Knowledge of dental insurance processes including dental billing, dentalcollection procedures, and understanding of dental insurance plans such as Medicare, Medicaid for adults, PPO and HMO insurance is a plus as well.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with typing skills (10 key typing preferred).
• Excellent customer service abilities with the capacity to handle patient inquiries professionally while maintaining confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
• Ability to review documentation accurately and perform detailed data entry related to clinical notes and care plans.
• Bilingual skills are highly desirable to serve diverse patient populations effectively.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
