Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician will perform maintenance, repair, and rebuild functions on a wide range of mechanical systems, with a strong focus on pump systems. Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on facility and manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot, repair, and rebuild various pump systems (centrifugal, gear, diaphragm, etc.)
- Conduct welding and cutting operations (MIG, TIG, stick) for equipment repair and fabrication
- Ensure all work complies with safety, health, and environmental regulations
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, service records, and documentation
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and perform root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with production teams to reduce downtime and support operational goals
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work assigned 1st or 2nd shifts and be available for required overtime
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training in mechanical or industrial maintenance preferred
- 2–3 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong knowledge of pump systems, including repair, rebuild, and troubleshooting
- Proficiency in welding and cutting (MIG, TIG, stick) with proper safety practices
- Strong commitment to safety, cleanliness, and workplace organization
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
- Basic electrical knowledge is a plus
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
