Appell Line Striping of West Houston is seeking a dedicated and reliable part-time parking lot line striping technician to join our team. This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality work. As a line striping technician, you will be responsible for marking and re-striping parking lots and commercial properties.
Responsibilities:
- Perform parking lot line striping, including marking parking spaces, directional arrows, fire lanes, curbs, and crosswalks.
- Operate specialized equipment, such as line striping machines, to apply paint to parking lots.
- Prepare and maintain equipment for daily tasks.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete assignments on time and to customer specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment.
- Communicate with customers and project managers regarding job details and progress.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in parking lot striping or related fields is advantageous, but not required.
- Availability to work irregular schedule, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Capability to operate line striping equipment (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and physical environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Capacity to lift heavy objects and remain on feet for extended periods.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and work efficiently.
