Essential Job Functions
The housing facilities technician will assist the University Housing MaintenanceDepartment with routine and preventative maintenance including: HVAC , Carpentry,Painting, Plumbing, and/or Electrical.This position requires moderate to heavy lifting, with or without reasonableaccommodation, and the ability to work around dust, latex paint, and odors.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years maintenance experience in industrial, commercial, or residential
HVAC ,Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing, and/or Electrical.
Work Schedule/Hours
Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Position Dates: May 11,2026 – August 31, 2026
Number of Hours Per Week 40
Number of Months Per Year 12
Mandatory Staff No
Physical Demands of Position
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential jobduty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualifiedindividuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
Hiring Range $13-$15/hour
