Role Description
This full-time or part-time role as a Production Associate at APOTHEKE is an on-site position based in Red Hook, Brooklyn, NY. The Production Associate will contribute to daily operations by supporting production processes, working as assigned within the production team, possibly assisting with machine operations, conducting quality checks, and maintaining efficiency across tasks. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can adapt to various production needs in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the high-quality standards that APOTHEKE is known for.
Qualifications
- Experience in Production and working effectively within production teams.
- Proficiency in handling basic hand tools
- Knowledge and experience in Quality Control processes to maintain product standards.
- Proven ability to adapt easily in a dynamic, fast-paced working environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks while standing or moving regularly.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to use a fork lift a plus
- Spanish proficiency a plus
Responsibilities
- Assemble products by setting glass vessels, gluing wicks, folding boxes, and packaging finished goods
- Assist with candle and diffuser pouring as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and use equipment safely and responsibly
- Pack orders accurately according to direction from the Production Manager
- Track and maintain accurate production counts
- Conduct physical inventory counts and provide before-and-after inventory reports
- Monitor inventory levels of production materials and notify the Production Manager when supplies are running low
