The Part-Time Weekend Sales Associate at Apotheke will play a key role in delivering an immersive, creative experience for customers. Our space offers a hands-on, interactive candle- making and fragrance experience, where customers create personalized candles and perfume using premium materials. You will assist with studio operations, guide customers through the pouring process, and manage the team.
Our flagship store is located in Redhook, Brooklyn. Applicants must be able to commute to and from Redhook on nights and weekends. Saturday and Sunday required.
The Sales Associate is responsible for assisting our candle-pouring and fragrance classes, creating a welcoming and pleasurable experience, and selling in-store.
Responsibilities
This is a part-time, on-site role for a Weekend Sales Associate at APOTHEKE, located in Red Hook in New York, NY. The Sales Associate will oversee daily retail operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and enforce store policies and procedures. Responsibilities include assisting with classes, maintaining an organized and welcoming retail environment, guiding customer experiences, and promoting APOTHEKE products and values. The role requires the ability to work in a fast paced enviroment with the flexibility to work in the store and studio.
Qualifications
- Flexible work hours with availability to work a closing shift until 8 pm and travel to Redhook, Brooklyn.
- Strong knowledge of products and ability to communicate their benefits effectively
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on engaging with customers and team members
- Experience in retail sales and delivering a seamless customer experience
- Proven skills in customer service and problem-solving to address and resolve any customer concerns
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced retail environment
- Passion for luxury retail and an interest in fragrance or lifestyle products
- Ability to stand for more than 6 hours and lift 25 lbs.
- High school Diploma or higher education required
