What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service/Counting Tech position at Apothecare Pharmacy?
ApotheCARE Pharmacy has an immediate opening for a full-time, reliable staff member for Counting Tech/Front End. Any applicant must be willing to work at any of our five locations in Hardin County and have reliable transportation.

Requirements
· Proven experience in a customer service role
· Excellent communication & customer service skills
· Cash handling experience
· Outstanding organizational skills
· Attention to detail & accuracy
· Must be able to work between the pharmacy's operating hours of 9AM and 7PM - shift varies and rotates between staff
Job Expectations
· Assist customers and answer inquiries with amazing customer service skills
· Answer incoming phone calls from patients and customers
· Process cash, debit, credit and check transactions using a cash register and point-of-sale system
· Select the appropriate medicine and accurately count/measure dosages to fill prescriptions
· Accurately count and measure prescription medications
· Sterilize surfaces and equipment
· Sort, stock, & label medications while monitoring inventory
· Undertake administrative tasks such as record-keeping and etc. as assigned
· Comply with all security measures & quality standards
· Maintains respectful relationships with co-workers and work as a team
Additional Skills Preferred but not required:
· Knowledge of medication & dosage measurement
· Knowledge of pharmacy law & medical terminology
