Site Reliability Engineer

$$180-$270K base salary
I’m working with a high-growth, product-focused engineering team who are looking to bring in a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help shape and scale their platform.
This is a hands-on role focused on reliability, scalability, and performance - ensuring systems are resilient while enabling engineers to ship quickly and safely.
The role
You’ll take ownership of reliability and performance across the platform, working closely with engineering teams to improve how systems are built, deployed, and operated in a fast-moving environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Designing and operating reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure supporting production systems
- Improving system resilience through better monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices
- Owning and evolving Kubernetes environments, including scaling, networking, and performance tuning
- Enhancing deployment reliability through CI/CD improvements and release automation
- Implementing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar)
What they’re looking for
- 2 years experience in SRE, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Experience running and supporting Kubernetes in production
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tooling
- Strong understanding of Linux, containers, networking, and distributed systems
- Experience building or improving CI/CD processes
Nice to have
- Experience defining and working with SLOs / SLIs
- Familiarity with modern observability platforms
- Exposure to GitOps or advanced CI/CD tooling
- Experience supporting high-scale or high-traffic systems
- Interest in performance tuning and cost optimization
