Supplier Quality Analyst 1
Newport News, VA
Evaluating Supplier provided weld joint records for acceptability
Performing data entry to systems to indicate the status of the joint records
Saving the electronic copy of the joint record in SAP
Printing a copy of the weld joint record to go on file in a hardcopy folder
Filing and organizing weld joint records for long term storage
Returning rejected records to the supplier and facilitating those corrections
Issuing Quality notifications to track defects received
Accounting for all records rec’d and outstanding for each PO line item tracking via excel spreadsheets. To support the pace and volume of outsourced work, which is growing.
Hours:
7:30-4
Requirements Of the Supplier Quality Analyst:
- Quality Experience dealing with specifications or Purchase Orders and Good Communication
- Data Entry or good Computer Skills
- Analytical and questioning Attitude
- Ability to work Independenty
