Function: This position reports to the IT Support Supervisor and is responsible for staff support and maintenance regarding hardware, software, printers, voice systems support, and other necessary IT related devices.
Duties & Responsibilities: To include but not limited to the following:
- Provide support to end users on a variety of hardware and software issues.
- Identify, research, and resolve technical problems.
- Respond to internal phone calls, emails and the Helpdesk for technical support (First point of contact for all users).
- Document, track and monitor problems in the Helpdesk to ensure a timely resolution.
- Set up new computer hardware and software for users.
- Phone System end-user configuration - Ring Central cloud platform.
- User management in Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID environments.
- Train users in application software.
- Maintain and troubleshoot network printers.
- Install software releases, system upgrades, evaluate and install patches, fixes and resolve any related problems.
Required:
- Sound knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID - Users, Groups and Permissions.
- Able to troubleshoot and configure workstations in a Windows networking environment.
- Must have a basic understanding of networking principles and concepts.
- Exceptional conceptual and analytical problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in non-standard auto insurance is a plus.
- 3 years related work experience in a Windows-based network environment.
