Overview
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED & skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC/R systems, including experience with refrigeration and appliance repair. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can diagnose issues, perform repairs, and ensure that all systems operate efficiently. The HVAC Technician will be responsible for maintaining and servicing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in both residential and commercial restaurant settings. We are a small but growing company, and employees are subcontractor 1099.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including commercial refrigeration units.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues using tools such as multimeters and schematics.
- Perform routine maintenance on HVAC/R equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work with A2L and propane refrigeration systems as needed.
- Invoice customers via Quickbooks online
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures to clients.
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the HVAC/R or trade industry.
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations related to HVAC installations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, fast learner, and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
- Certification in HVAC or relevant fields is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must have a valid TX driver's license and a good driving record.
