Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the salon team, providing mentoring and training on hair replacement procedures, hair styling, coloring, extensions, and sanitation standards
- Oversee and provide help in daily salon operations, including appointment scheduling, client consultations, hair ordering, retail sales, and inventory management using salon software. Post daily social media content if needed
- Deliver personalized consultations to assess client needs and recommend tailored hair replacement solutions, including hair systems, wigs and coloring services
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a clean and compliant environment for clients and staff
- Drive retail sales through effective upselling of products related to hair care, color theory, and other salon services
- Foster excellent client communication by building trust, understanding individual preferences, and ensuring a positive overall experience
- Monitor store performance metrics such as retail math, sales targets, and client retention rates to optimize profitability and growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on hair replacement or related services such as barbering or cosmetology
- Strong knowledge of hair care techniques including coloring, styling, hair systems, wigs, and barbering skills
- Familiarity with salon management software and retail sales systems Ex; GlossGenius
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members
- Demonstrated leadership abilities in store management or team supervision roles
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices within a salon environment
- Ability to mentor staff on technical skills such as color theory, hair styling techniques, retail upselling, and customer service excellence
