Apollo’s Public Policy team supports senior leadership on a range of policy initiatives, including thought leadership, political and legislative risk, strategic investment considerations, and the firm’s government affairs priorities. The Director will help advance these objectives with a significant focus on U.S. federal policy, political and regulatory matters.

Pay Range
$150,000 - $200,000

The base salary range for this position is listed above. This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus based on personal, team, and Firm performance. Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain a system for tracking federal legislative and regulatory developments impacting Apollo
- Develop internal reporting processes to help disseminate legislative and regulatory analysis across business units
- Assist with the preparation of policy memos for team leadership engagements with government and regulatory officials
- Assist with oversight of third-party consultants and trade groups
- Conduct outreach to policymakers and other stakeholders as needed
- Experience working in a public policy environment (total industry experience ~4-9yrs );
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills (building internal content, presentations, and materials);
- Excellent writing skills and comfort presenting to internal and external audiences from time to time;
- A background in - or strong interest in - financial services, regulation, and related policy issues.
