Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
- Assist with bussing tables and clearing dining areas as needed
- Support food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and basic kitchen duties
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, dishwashing stations, and storage areas
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Support catering and banquet events by providing timely dishwashing and cleanup services
- Ensure all health and safety regulations are adhered to during daily operations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or banquet environments preferred
- Knowledge of kitchen operations including food preparation, serving, and food handling is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong cleaning skills with a focus on sanitation standards
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings or weekends if required
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to food service operations
