Responsibilities
- Create and maintain network architecture diagrams and layouts using Visio and/or CAD
- Develop drawings for: As‑built and future‑state network designs / Fiber, OSP, and pathway layouts/ Power systems, UPS, and electrical infrastructure.
- Update and proof drawings based on: Power, fiber, and infrastructure surveys /Wi‑Fi and general network assessments
- Document infrastructure across multiple U.S. Air Force bases
- Consolidate survey and design data into Technical Refresh documentation
- Support engineering and implementation teams with accurate, validated designs
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5-10 years of applicable experience in DS engineering (network infrastructure/switching, fiber and OSP design, power systems/UPS, Wi-Fi or RF-related infrastructure)
- Experience with Visio and/or CAD for network, fiber, OSP or power designing
- Must be able to translate field survey data in clean and accurate drawings
- Focus skills on fiber splicing and fiber testing
- Must have proficient communication skills
- Strong systems/network designing experience
- Candidates must hold/eligible to obtain either an active Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
Salary : $60 - $65
