Apogee is seeking a Systems Engineer with a Mission or Space Craft Design Expertise. The person will work in a team environment to Lead GEOINT Studies. If you live and breathe Systems Engineering, then you'll love Apogee and this position!
Position
- Lead advisory services in support of program integration to include: Program Planning, Analytic Studies that inform senior decision-making process, and communicates packages for use with external and internal seniors
- Lead Analysis of Alternatives, Statement of Capability development; develop funding estimates and visual presentations
- Provide SME advisory support to system concept and trade studies related to the development of Collection Segment technologies for insertion into specific acquisition
- Communicate with clients to formulate and document analysis needs
- Formulate a studies plan including methodology, dependencies, deliverables, and schedule
- Lead gathering the necessary data to conduct the required study, analysis, or mission utility assessment
- Lead technical exchange meetings (TEMs), out-briefings or gate reviews
- Lead the generation of development requirements, designs, schedules, resource plans and software integration and test plans (SWIT)3
Required
- Bachelor's in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related technical discipline and nine (14) years or more experience; OR Masters and seven (12) years or more of relevant experience
- Extensive Intelligence Community knowledge and work history
- Ability to lead and be the primary point of contact for one or more projects
- Excellent communication skills, multi-task and lead several projects simultaneously
