We are seeking a talented and passionate Mechanical Designer II to join our growing team. As a designer, you will play a key role in creating innovative and impactful design solutions that elevate the lives of our users/clients. You will work closely with the project engineer and other team members to translate concepts into compelling and user-friendly designs.
Key Responsibility and Expertise
Healthcare Experience Is Required
Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (ABET-accredited)
Passed Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and working toward professional licensure (PE) (Preferred)
Experience: 2 years as a mechanical designer
Computer Skills: Revit, MS Office Suite, Trane Select Assist, Trane Trace 3D
Travel: up to 10% depending on project
Salary Range: $60,000 - $95,000

You will work closely with the project engineer and other team members to translate concepts into compelling and user-friendly designs.
Key Responsibility and Expertise
- Proficient in designing and drafting mechanical and plumbing systems including:
- Ductwork, Piping, Sanitary systems, Domestic water, Medical gas, Steam, Natural gas
- And Water heating systems
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and evaluate design concepts.
- Assess feasibility of design ideas based on safety, function, and serviceability.
- Create detailed drawings, blueprints, and sketches using Revit software.
- Develop construction documents and coordinate intermittent submissions.
- Work closely with other disciplines to ensure cohesive design integration.
- Conduct field investigations and site visits.
- Skilled in determining optimal routing and sizing of systems.
- High proficiency in Revit design tools and software.
