About the Role
Our team seeks a driven Licensed Electrical Engineer. This crucial function requires studying, designing, and producing electrical construction drawings, using industry principles, techniques, and procedures, and sometimes consulting on difficult projects. An enthusiastic, driven person who values critical thinking and effectiveness is desirable.
Pay range and compensation package
Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000 Annually
Responsibilities
- Builds generator, UPS, and automatic transfer switch healthcare building electrical systems.
- Design and supervise building designers.
- Coordinates construction, installation, and operational testing to specifications.
- Completes engineering tasks and designs using Revit and other CAD software.
- Work with professional designers and engineers to create electrical drawings and specifications.
- Analysis and modeling of normal and emergency power distribution, life safety, lighting, and control systems, and coordination with other designers.
- Develops LEED, Energy Star, and other lighting control solutions.
- Engineer of Record.
- Meets NEC, NFPA70, and other electrical industry standards and best practices.
- Effectively constructed employing power distribution, three-phase systems, short-circuit calculations, and breaker coordination.
- Understands design Arc Flash calculations and medium voltage distribution.
- Appears professional. Keeps desk clean.
- Coach coworkers on skill development and professional advancement.
Qualifications
- PE License; NCEES Registration; LEED, CEM, or LC (recommended).
- Experience in healthcare is preferred but not required.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering from a four-year college or university desirable.
- Experience: Minimum six years in A/E (plus two years licensed) with healthcare project experience.
- Skilled in Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office.
- Up to 20% travel depending on project.

Salary Range: $110,000 - $160,000 Annually
