APMTD Incorporated, a US subsidiary of ANIVIA Medical Holdings, is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join the team at our US corporate headquarters in Wilmington, MA. Position is full time, non-exempt, hourly, 40 hours weekly with flexible scheduling options available.

The Manufacturing Technician reports into the Director of Operations. Compensation: $23-$27 hourly rate
General Position Description:
- Manufacturing Technician works to kit, assemble, test and ship Company products.
- Includes work on manufacturing process improvement and support of R&D in running experiments or building prototypes.
- Supports manufacturing and field service activities such as design, test, checkout, modification, fabrication, assembly and repair of prototype electro-mechanical systems and specialized test equipment.
- Actively participates in the development, implementation and application of processes (assembly and test) for mechanical, electromechanical, electronic instruments and instrumentation; all Company devices developed and manufactured.
- Support Design, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, and the Materials Organization in the development of product, processes, tests and associated documentation for both the development of new product, and improvements needed for legacy product (existing production).
Position Responsibilities: The Manufacturing Technician is primarily responsible for manufacturing electro-mechanical medical devices and instrumentation or development and customer use.
- Interface directly with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering assisting with the development and documentation of new product, associated processes, fixtures, tooling and equipment. Capable to build qualification and first build products from sketches and note level documentation.
- Volume assembly and test of electro-mechanical devices; work with adhesives and careful assembly of small parts.
- Must be able to work from schematics, diagrams, engineering drawings, manufacturing instructions, packaging specifications, written, and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions.
- Executing build and test procedures, maintaining paper and electronic quality records.
- Follow cGMP manufacturing practices utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and working to continuously improve all aspects of work.
- Support R&D in developing experiments, prototypes and new processes.
- Carry out all work in a safe manner.
- Effectively and immediately communicate any issues/malfunctions to other team members and help to determine methods or actions to establish and maintain a solution.
- Moves components, assemblies, product, fixtures, tools, and portable equipment throughout the facility.
- Utilizes computerized and manual systems, department instructions and manufacturing standards to perform manufacturing transactions, product or process status, to accumulate, count, package, label, and move parts and assemblies to required internal destinations. Maintain accurate records for material locations and on hand balances.
- Must be able to perform operational testing and fault isolation on systems and equipment.
- Must have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Performs simple maintenance of equipment, fixtures, tooling, and workspace to include but not limited to cleanliness, lubrication, monitoring for wear, monitoring for ESD compliance (where required), identifying issues (safety related or otherwise) to supervisor that may require facility staff attention.
- Participates in manufacturing team meetings to identify issues, monitor and document data for failure or other manufacturing trends, obtain assignments, status completion of action items, gives input to a daily course of actions relative to assignment of work, setting priorities, obtaining help, and assists with maintaining a production or project status board.
- Maintains required record keeping in accordance with policies, specifications and requirements.
- Work is done independently and in small teams.
- Other tasks may also be assigned, receiving, inventory management and preparation and shipping.
Required Skills and Training:
- Minimum 2 to 5 years prior experience in a manufacturing or development environment.
- Detail-oriented and able to execute detailed protocols and remain focused on exact and repetitive assembly tasks.
- Good eye-hand coordination and fine manual dexterity to handle small tools.
- Competence with MSOffice or similar toolset.
- The ability to study, read, and understand the schematics, blueprints, product manuals, process documents, and gather information regarding its parts, fixtures, tools, etc.
- Familiarity with GMP facilities preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to monitor own work to ensure quality, accuracy, and thoroughness.
- Good communication skills; fluent in written and verbal English.
- Must understand written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents.
- Able to quickly learn and apply new skills, procedures and approaches.
- Self-motivated and able work both independently and as part of a team.
- Job requires a willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges.

Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associates degree or equivalent technician experience, computer literacy and hand tool and/or machine tool experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and/or sit for up to 8 hours per day.
