Job Title: Software Engineer 3 Cloud Security (Python/AWS)
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19103
Duration: 12 months contract (with possible extension)
Role Overview:
You will be part of a Cloud Security Engineering team, building platforms that help secure cloud environments and process large-scale data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI/Flask)
- Work with AWS cloud services (S3, RDS, ECS, etc.)
- Build and maintain data pipelines and processing systems
- Integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL) and handle large datasets
- Use AI coding tools (Copilot, LLMs) to enhance development
- Write clean, scalable, and production-ready code
- Work in Agile teams and participate in code reviews
Required Skills:
- 4 years of software development experience
- Strong Python programming skills
- Experience with AWS cloud services
- Knowledge of PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines
- Good understanding of APIs and system design
Nice to Have:
- FastAPI experience
- Exposure to cloud security concepts
- Experience with AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, etc.)
Salary : $70 - $80
