This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about clinical research and participant care.
π What You'll Do:
β¨ Lead clinical research participant visits and ensure exceptional participant care
β¨ Obtain vital signs and perform health assessments, including height, weight, waist, hip, and arm circumference measurements
β¨ Conduct 12-lead ECGs using study-specific equipment
β¨ Collect blood, urine, and saliva specimens according to study protocols
β¨ Perform spirometry assessments and monitor participant responses
β¨ Administer protocol-required medications, including albuterol inhalation treatments
β¨ Support participants throughout study visits and provide study-related assistance as needed
β¨ Ensure compliance with study protocols, GCP guidelines, Stanford policies, and regulatory requirements
β¨ Document clinical activities accurately using electronic data capture systems
β¨ Collaborate with investigators, research coordinators, and study staff to ensure smooth study operations
β¨ Monitor and identify adverse events and maintain appropriate study documentation
π§ What You Bring:
π Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent required
π Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; research nursing experience preferred
π©Ί Strong clinical assessment and specimen collection skills
π Understanding of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), research protocols, and regulatory compliance
π» Experience with electronic data capture systems and database management
π€ Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse participant populations
π Knowledge of participant safety, confidentiality, and research ethics
π₯ Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
