Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position is responsible for developing and implementing quality plans, managing RMA and CAPA processes, conducting audits, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality plans aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
- Manage the RMA (Return Material Authorization) process to ensure timely resolution of returns.
- Lead the CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) process, including root cause analysis and effectiveness verification.
- Maintain and update work instructions for clarity and compliance.
- Oversee the document control process and maintain cross-department documentation with accuracy and consistency,
- Conduct process capability studies and recommend quality improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Schedule and conduct supplier audits to promote standardization and performance improvement.
- Lead initiatives to enhance supplier capability and ensure compliance with company quality standards.
- Prepare and oversee qualification test plans, procedures, and reports.
- Perform internal audits and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or quality assurance (required).
- Strong knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and quality management systems.
- Experience in auditing and evaluating quality systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other PC-based tools.
- Excellent verbal, written, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret engineering documentation and technical procedures.
- Strong problem-solving skills using tools such as 8D, 5 , Pareto Analysis, Six Sigma, and PPAP.
- Familiarity with supplier quality standards and procedures.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Frequent use of hands, sitting, talking, and hearing.
- Occasional standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 10 lbs.
- Visual acuity, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision.
