The Manufacturing Engineering Intern work on special projects alongside our Manufacturing Engineer and Operations team to support growth at our Franklin, WI facility. Special projects include both day-to-day management of our 121,000 sq/ft facility as well as growing our business as we add onto our existing manufacturing footprint. Contributions may include:
- Evaluate, improve, and document existing manufacturing processes
- With guidance, design and detail new work holding fixtures using SolidWorks
- Assist with Lean initiatives including set-up reduction, workplace organization, standardized work, process/workflow improvements, and visual management
- Assist with installation and validation of new manufacturing equipment and troubleshooting of existing equipment
- Prepare documentation for new manufacturing processes or engineering procedures
What You Bring:
- Must be currently enrolled in college seeking either a two- or four-year degree in Engineering
- Heavy emphasis on students seeking degrees in Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Engineering; junior or senior year standing preferred
