Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across targeted industries
- Build and execute strategic plans for market expansion and revenue growth
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with engineering, procurement, and executive stakeholders
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategy
- Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Marketing to deliver customized solutions
- Own and manage the sales pipeline, including CRM updates and accurate forecasting
- Maintain a robust 12-month opportunity pipeline aligned with growth objectives
- Represent General ThermoDynamics at trade shows, industry events, and customer meetings
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7 years of business development or sales experience
- Demonstrated success in a “hunter” sales role with consistent achievement of growth targets
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strategic mindset with analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office
- Experience selling engineered or technical products into industrial markets
- Established network within engineering and procurement organizations
- Familiarity with heat transfer equipment (radiators, oil coolers, HVAC systems, etc.)
- Understanding of engine cooling and thermal management systems
