- Assembles fabricated components to make complete units or sub assemblies to drawings, specifications and procedures already established.
- Machine or hand tools may be used.
- Duties include expanding, rolling and flaring tubes and knowledge of standard types of testing and flushing procedures.
- Requires a minimum of assistance and instructions.
- Whenever required, will advise others when physically assisted.
- Uses mechanical and manual lifting equipment and essential tools.
- Prepares units for shipment, makes skids, boxes; and as required, spray paints standard primers, brush paints, stencils and nameplates. Would be required to take Painter/Assembler transfer at times required by supervision.
