Medical Billing Specialist

ApexNetwork Physical Therapy is looking for a passionate Medical Billing Specialist to join our team! Key Responsibilities:
- Work individually and as a team to work through the billing cycle for all of ApexNetwork PT's locations!
- Billing team members work with account auditing, payment posting, accounts receivable, and patient billing
- Adequately answer patient questions, including providing a benefit review
- Perform electronic and paper billing
- Handle phone calls professionally and with courtesy
- Collaborate with team members to problem solve and achieve team goals
- Understand Apex protocol and become proficient with our software systems
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in medical or dental billing is preferred
- High attention to detail
- Ability to remain organized under deadlines
